That's the underlying principle that started this company on. We love tea and we want to share our knowledge and enthusiasm with you. That's why we created this online tea shop.

If you are new to tea, we want to introduce you to this wonderful world. If you're already a tea-lover then we'll help you continue your journey of discovery. Over ten years we've learned to appreciate teas of all kinds of loose leaf tea. We’ve visited countless tea plantations, and learned from those who produce the tea. We've spent time with those regarded as tea masters, and we want to share our experiences with you. We sample all of our teas before we buy them, to ensure they are the finest quality. Many of our teas are certified organic tea, and we have sourced many from UNESCO heritage sites all over the World. We care deeply about health and wellbeing and so any tea which is not certified organic, we send to a UK lab for pesticide-residue testing and obtain certification. This ensures that we only stock the finest teas.

The history of tea is 'steeped' in tradition and with over 600 kinds of tea in the world, there are plenty to discover. Tea drinking dates back 3000 years and while we enjoy the tradition and ceremony, we also want to sometimes enjoy tea in a contemporary way that compliments modern life. So, we have pleasure in bringing to you tea and tea ware that you can enjoy at home or at work; whether you choose tradition or convenience is up to you.

We want every customer to feel informed and excited before making any purchase, and delighted when that arrives on your doorstep. Our website offers free guides on how to make the tea and we usually include tea culture information for most products. We offer an absolute satisfaction guarantee.
