The tea has a gentle spring taste with a hint of nuttiness and a light sweet aftertaste. The liquor is bright amber with a pleasant and distinctive fragrance. Hand-picked, baked, fried, and selected, this tea is processed in a small village outside of Hangzhou by a celebrated Long Jing tea master who is 80 years of age. This is first grade Long Jing harvested form the Lion Hill before the ancestor’s day in early spring, only a very small amount is made by the tea master. This is not usually available for export, but we have sourced a small quantity on our recent visit to China. Learn More
