    Pu’erh tea is a treasured tea in China as it takes many years to process. It is a fully fermented tea, with a rich and complex flavour and a vibrant colour. At first a subtle bitterness, this tea mellows out into a rich berry sweetness towards the middle of the cup, and has a subtle aroma that is reminiscent of sweet molasses and camphor. This particular tea is sourced from an ancient tree of 900 years in Puer city in the Yunnan Province. The tree only yields 5kg of tea per year, and this tea is not usually available to buy outside of China. We have managed to source a very small amount of this special tea. Learn More

    Long Jing is known as the queen of the green tea and is one of the most beloved teas in China, and this is certainly a special variety. The tea has a gentle spring taste with a hint of nuttiness and a light sweet aftertaste. The liquor is bright amber with a pleasant and distinctive fragrance. Hand-picked, baked, fried, and selected, this tea is processed in a small village outside of Hangzhou by a celebrated Long Jing tea master who is 80 years of age. This is first grade Long Jing harvested form the Lion Hill before the ancestor’s day in early spring, only a very small amount is made by the tea master. The early harvest yields the tea with the most sought taste each year. In this very peaceful, and clean open land, the tea is processed by Mr Wang in a small-holder production facility that is set amidst the brilliant green slopes of the tea terraces. Only a small quantity is made each year. Traditional methods are used to process this tea, which guarantees high quality from planting the seedling through to the finished product.
