Gaiwan, or lidded cups, are traditionally used for jasmine tea in some parts of China, but are also preferred choice for delicate green and white tea. The small things make all the difference. There are many things which make drinking tea enjoyable. For us it is observing clean, clear liquor before appreciating the scent and taste. A traditional tea strainer is simply not fine enough to remove all fine leaf particles from Chinese tea, and so a Chinese sieve is traditionally used. Tea can be poured through the sieve into a glass jug or cups. The sieves are supplied with the charming palm holder to store the sieve when not in use. The sieve is an integral part of the Gong Fu Tea Ceremony. Learn More
